Fetching and Tugging

Here is Anson fetching and tugging with his favorite teddy bear. He will also retrieve and tug with a tennis ball, but this time I let him pick his toy. My aim is to increase his drive, or the speed with which he gets the toy and brings it back to me. At this point I am pretty happy that he is even retrieving and tugging since he didn't have too much experience with that before a few weeks ago. Soon I should step him up to flyball bootcamp level. We are going to his first official practice tonight, and it will be interesting to see how he does in that situation. It might be a bit much for him, but he is pretty focused so I am thinking positively.
