Finley Dahlia - born April 27th 4:31 am - 6 lbs 5 oz

We are so excited that our little girl is finally here! After spending the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy on bed rest, I was excited to finally go to the hospital knowing that I would come home with a baby. I was admitted on Sunday afternoon for an unsuccessful induction that lasted until early Tuesday morning. I have to admit I was relieved when a C-section became the safest option to deliver the baby, even though I was hoping to not go that route.

We got home on Thursday night and have been enjoying being a family of 3 and adjusting to a serious lack of sleep!

Congratulations Deborah. I am a mother of two boys ages 8 and 9 months and they are a handful of laughs and joy. I was induced with my last son and it was horrible. I have never been in so much pain in my entire life and I don't wish that pain on anyone. But, he's here, healthy and a ball of excitement. I love them both more than life itself. Enjoy them while they are small because time really flies!!

Ben, thanks for the darling pictures. I realize I did not get the whole name on the card I mailed, ran out of space. I will get it right from now on. I know you are having a wonderful time with your little bundle of joy. We are so happy for you both. Hope you are feeling good Deborah. Love, Aunt Linda
